Biography

Judge Jennifer A. Mehaffey serves as the Coast Guard Administrative Law Judge for the New York ALJ field office. Before she was elevated to the bench, Coast Guard suspension and revocation records identify Mehaffey as a Coast Guard S&R prosecutor, including in U.S. Coast Guard vs. Mark Steven Stinziano, where she appeared for the Coast Guard alongside Lineka N. Quijano and other Coast Guard counsel. She now presides over merchant mariner credential suspension and revocation matters from the New York field office.
