“Survivors Speak” Submissions:

Since June 2020, more than 50 brave survivors of maritime abuse have published their stories here at MLAA. Publishing these stories has been our most important and impactful work, and the stories these brave mariners have shared are changing the industry.

If you would like to contribute to the change by submitting a story for publication, you can submit your story here through this form either anonymously or with your contact information. If you include contact information, we will attempt to reach out to you regarding your story before we publish it. Our preferred process is to speak with you directly about your story, but we realize many people are not willing to do that. If you are willing, we encourage you to message us to set up a confidential phone call to discuss your story.

Please draft your story in a separate word processor before putting it into the form, and please include as much detail as possible. We want to believe you and want others to believe you as well. There is no guarantee we will publish anonymously submitted stories, and we will not publish names of persons or any personally identifiable information included in anonymously submitted stories.
