What the NCIS File Says

A Family Advocacy Program counselor notified NCIS that a retired Navy/NMRU employee and a COMSC Far East civilian had made allegations of physical and sexual abuse against each other during marital conflict.

The initial report included safety concerns involving a prior kitchen-knife incident and a claim of a long history of physical and sexual abuse.

One reported sexual abuse incident allegedly occurred in 2019 at the family's Singapore residence after a move from Virginia. The couple had three children and divorce proceedings were underway.

NCIS contacted both parties, but each declined to be interviewed. Investigators notified legal, SARC, MSC Far East counsel, and Department of State Regional Security Office personnel.

Personnel-record review and social-media checks produced no pertinent information, and NCIS closed because details of the allegations could not be determined.
