[REDACTED]d [REDACTED] declined the services of a Victim Legal Counsel (VLC) and a Sexual Assault Forensic Examination (SAFE) was declined by [REDACTED] — \indicated a Military Protective Order (MPO) was not issued. [REDACTED] jhad no additional amplifying details regarding the nature of the sexual assault, subject information, or alcohol use. On 24JAN19, PA [REDACTED] nade contact with [REDACTED], Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC), regarding his knowledge of the captioned notification. NARRATIVE

1. This reactive investigation was initiated pursuant to suspected violation of Article 120 (Sexual Assault) of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) .

2. Reference (A) indicates the ROI LOSED) after the initiation of the captioned investigation [REDACTED] signed a Victim Preference Statement (VPS) and provided no additional amplifying details. All logical investigative steps were completed and the case was closed. Upon receipt of subject information from command, the captioned investigate was reopened. References (B) through (D) indicate completed investigative endeavors.

3. On 12NOV19, contact was made with) — [REDACTED], RLSO MIDLANT [REDACTED] reported this case was closed on 21AUG19 by) [REDACTED] dS USN, Senior Trial Counsel, RLSO MIDLANT, due to the [REDACTED] participating in the investigation.

6. On 27JAN20, [REDACTED], Commanding Officer O), NMCP vysxs [REDACTED], JAGC, Command Judge Advocate, NMCP, and [REDACTED], Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC), were apprised on the status of the closure of this investigation.
