Hello. I have been following the bombshell that has been going on. And I too have a story to tell. I'm retired now. I've been out for 2 years. My story is against the family advocate in Miami in 2014.
My wife and I were going through some things. We had separated. I was stationed in Fort Pierce and they sent me to Miami to go through an investigation. The family advocate went to my house in Fort Pierce and had a meeting with my wife at the time. He told her she was pretty and asked why she was even with me. When the meeting was over, he returned to Miami.
She had some boudoir photography done and the family advocate showed them to me and said my wife was very pretty. I almost lost my shit. But under the circumstances, I couldn't dare say anything in fear of losing my career. I didn't do what I was accused of, but the professionalism of the family advocate was uncalled for.
It's been years since the incident. After it was all over, my now ex-wife told me he had touched her inappropriately. She said she was uncomfortable being in the house alone with him and asked him to never come back.
The Coast Guard is a mess and they put leaders in that should not be leaders.
